Pathway to Prevention has created a blog called the “Parents Seeking Serenity” blog to support and inspire parents whose children are abusing drugs or alcohol.

We have also developed “Meetings in a Box”  that will help parents–singly or with others–recover their equilibrium while dealing with a chi substance abuse. The Meetings in a Box:

  • Provide emotional support and fellowship to parents who struggle with their children’s substance abuse
  • Share information and tools to empower parents  recover from their child’s addiction, which is a critical factor in
    helping entire families recover.
  • Create a model for effective support groups and develop plans to replicate the support group model in other communities, either “live” or “virtual.”
